This is the darkest piece of sea glass I’ve ever made jewelry from. Light can barely pass through it, but when held up at the right angle…A bright olive tone can be seen. This means that this glass has a lot of iron added to it, and it most definitely came from an antique pirate gin bottle. A piece like this is certainly over 100 years old, and makes for the perfect conversation necklace. I paired this rare piece of sea glass with a dark, luminous blue/black pearl. Everything is strung on my hand-braided cordage.
