Kelp crabs are very interesting invertebrates that live in the intertidal waters of California. I hunt them for food, and in return, they also gift me with beautiful shells. These claws are extremely strong, and once helped to protect the crabs from predators and other dangerous creatures. (Black rocks NOT included)
