The chances of finding a piece of red sea glass are about 1 in 20,000. Finding a piece this large and perfect is even more incredible. Not only is the size remarkable, but this piece also has an array of air bubbles trapped in a layer deep within the glass. This creates a stunning visual impact. I believe this piece may have been art glass from decades ago.
Because this piece is so rare, I wanted to keep the necklace simple to showcase the glass. I added a simple pearl and kept everything on my signature hand braided cordage.
