At its center is a rare sea glass marble with center swirls of green, red, and white—found on a lonely stretch of California’s coast. Shaped by time and tide, it carries the quiet weight of the sea. I designed this piece to echo the old Japanese fishing floats that sometimes wash ashore — ghostlike remnants of distant journeys.
The marble is suspended openly, so light can move through it freely — catching every curve and illuminating its inner life.
It’s crowned with a genuine pearl and strung on cord I braid by hand. A small, wearable tribute to the ocean’s mysteries — and the beauty it leaves behind.
